In the study of metaphysics of reason and belief, there are points where all our colored belief of refinedness breaks down... Some beliefs that pass through our seive of critical reason have their bearing in our weaknesses. If we know we are inferior on a front, humans try to associate pseudo morality to acquisition either by will or maligned will. Often times these are the beliefs that we want to vehemently stick to as it ascribes an identity to our being. Do this exercise and let me know of some results |

Everyone here has a belief system that originates from socio cultural influences and biases. Worldviews that we form through childhood and teenage are subject to enormous chance of bias such as similarity and information. Assumption 1: that every man/woman deems their life's journey as that of acquiring faculties of superior reason, which at some denoument ushers fulfillment/enlightenment etc. Have you all challenged your all notions based on pure yet critical attack of reason. As in, take a belief system and start regressing it ad infinitum: 1.) if this were not true 2.) why should it be true 3.) does an alternate hypothesis exist and if so, is it intrinsically (on the basis of pure reason) contradictory? 4.) Do I posess this value to show some one else that I do so or is it by an aboriginal drive to feel some form of closure? At the end of this exercise for a small subset of your beliefs, do you stand a reasoned man and if so...why?? |
