Please try it out before you make the investment. What is comfortable for someone else may not be comfortable for you. Go to Ritz Camera/Costco/Best Buy where they have the model that you want to buy and hold it in your hand see how it feels. Then make your decision. Nikon is a fantastic choice if it suits you. | ||

It is you preference. Do you already have any equipment (like lenses, flashes, etc) that you want to reuse? That will impact your decision. have you used any of these companies cameras before? if you did, what did you think? For every Nikon enthusiast, there is a Canon enthusiast. You pick either one, you will not go wrong. Both are fantastic companies. A friend of mine is professional photographer (both wife and husband). He shoots with Nikon, she shoots with a Canon. Her father has been a professional photographer for 25 years. he uses nothing but Canon. So, it is what you are comfortable with. Go to a shop, hold both cameras and see what you feel comfortable with. | ||

You cannot compare Rebel series to D90. Rebel is intro level DSLR and D90 is a pro-sumer level model. D90 is comparable to Canon 40D/50D. | ||
