MS is usually 30 credits. people go for 9 credits in each of three semesters and summer semester one 3 credit research course. also there are people who do 12 ,12 and 6 and finish a semester sooner. Tuition will cost you 24K (30 credits X 800 USD per credit.) For full time students status it seems to be 9 per sem at rutgers, at some places it can be as high as 12 per sem. Unless your relative has good academics ( 70% +) and a great GRE Score (1300 +), chances will be low. | ||

One of my relatives is in her Final sem Btech. She wants to do MS in US. Prefernce is Rutgers NJ. I would appreciate if the MS guys here share information on the admission procedure, fees, stay etc for Rutgers or other universities in NJ. Please share if any websites are available for the whole process. I know she needs to take TOEFL and GRE. Besides that is there anything she needs to do in India? Does she need any reco letters from her college etc? Thanks in advance |
