No idea on the key details but between 2001-2005 as part of produce procurement processes, I worked directly with farmers and brokers from Watsonville,CA.
Based on what I gathered, it is verymuch of hardwork, it is very labor intensive. heavy ga mexico nunchi techevaru..

Going for traditional crops like corn, wheat, soya, etc in USA would only yield veryyyy less... May be less than 50$ per acre..
Should venture out with orchards... Ante thotalu mana baashalo..
Ye Thota Ayina sare..minimum 1k per acre upon maturity..
But u need to get there.. Before it starts yielding trick is to cultivate veggies/melons/even grasses like alfalfa.. To generate income...

nenu 3-4 years back left IT .., my observation on farming and doing other bussinesses....
Gujrathi, Punjabhis are less educated and 90% come on family immigration where ages when they land is 40-45 min. or they come illigally at 25-30 marry somebody here finally get citizenship at around 40 and then go back marry ...

These type of farming/business steps require guts and LOTs of hardwork and the results take time as well. Lot of uncertainty
